📊 Visualization in wall chart based off field responses
Sometimes users might want to show a distribution on the wall chart based off of field responses and not assessments. For example, seeing how many cards have been signed within different groupings (locations, departments, etc).
📊 Quick Apply is now Bulk Edit
Quick Apply has been wreaking data havoc for folks, mainly because users think they’re applying filters, but then they make massive changes to entities in their campaign. We are attempting to mitigate this issue with 4 changes to this feature:
- Rename feature to ‘bulk edit’ to communicate ‘YOU ARE ACTUALLY CHANGING THE DATA’ (see below)
- Changing the icon from a checklist to a pencil (see below)
- In the modal, ‘select all’ is now off by default (used to be on by default)
- There is now an extra checkbox on the last step (similar to the one on the Uploader) that users need to check before they can apply bulk edit changes. (see below)
📤 You can now upload multiple phone number and email address types in one upload
Now if you have multiple phone numbers or email addresses for an entity, you don’t need to use multiple rows to update their information. Each phone number or email address type can have its own column(s) in your CSV.
Add additional phone numbers or email addresses here:
If you have a column that is all of one type, make sure to set the ‘type’ for each one as static, instead of being dynamically set by another csv column:
Don’t forget to include subscribed and status columns for each phone number and/or email address, like so:
🪪 Custom ID names
You are now able to change the labels on the custom IDs that come with Action Builder, as well as create new custom IDs. It’s important to note that once you create a custom ID, you cannot edit the internal name. You can also archive custom IDs and they will no longer show up on an entity’s profile.
These settings can be found on the Entity Types admin page.
🪲 Bugs & UX Enhancements
🔄 Sync: email address type ‘home’
There was a bug where new emails coming in from the sync were being marked as ‘work’ email type, instead of ‘home’. This has been fixed.
📤 List of responses in uploads now alphabetical
Responses were listed in the order of their IDs in the database, which isn’t very helpful for folks using the uploader interface. They’re now in alphabetical order, which will make it much easier to scroll through.
⚙️ Campaign links clickable on the user page
Now you can easily click through to a campaign from a user’s profile via the campaigns’ names!
👥 View All Connections on Wall Chart link
At some point this icon that links you to the wall chart filtered by this entity’s connections stopped working. It works again!
🛣️ Another fix to routing bugs
We were still getting some cases of routing issues on addresses that seemed fine. Trying some more things that seemed to have fixed these issues.
