Wall Chart Quick Actions: Log Conversation Action
Action Builder's Quick Actions feature is designed to simplify the addition or editing of information about an entity. The Quick Action feature is available from the Wall Chart and entity profile page. This article provides a comprehensive guide on using Quick Actions, including the enabling the Conversation Button, as well as additional functionalities like viewing and adding assessments, updating information, establishing connections, and merging entities.
Follow these steps enable the Log Conversation Button:
Note: Only Leads and Admins can edit campaign settings.
- Navigate to the campaign's Customize tab.
- Access Entity Settings and select the desired Entity Type.
- Scroll down to the Conversation Logging section.
- Configure core fields, info fields, and/or connections for the conversation form.
Once enabled, the Conversation Button is accessible alongside other Quick Actions. Here's how to use it:
Locate the Conversation Button on the Wall Chart or Entity Profile.
On the Wall Chart:
On an Entity Profile:
Click "Log Conversation" to initiate a 2-step modal process.
- Step 1: Select the contact method used (defaults to 'In Person' with options for phone and email).
- Step 2: Add or update the person's information displayed based on configured entity settings.
Save the conversation to see it appear on the Activity Stream, which can be filtered for 'Conversations Logged' for easy reference.
Additional Quick Actions
In addition to the Log Conversation action, Quick Actions offer several other functionalities:
New Assessment
Assessments can be effortlessly viewed and added directly from the Wall Chart. Simply click on "Actions" next to a person's name and select "New Assessment."
Log Conversation
The Log Conversation action is a new feature that enhances user experience by simplifying the process of capturing essential information without the need for extensive setup or task creation.
Add Info
Quickly add information by selecting the desired field and response.
Add Connection
Establish connections with other entities by selecting "Actions," followed by "Add Connection," and providing the relevant details.
Quick Edit
Modify core fields such as name, email, address, and phone number directly from the Wall Chart for swift updates.
Merge
The Merge action allows users to merge entities seamlessly and can be accessed from the entity profile page.
Remove From Campaign
The Remove from Campaign action removes, but does not delete, an entity record from the campaign and can be accessed from the entity profile page.
