Connections are a way to link people, places, or groups, what we call entities, together. Connections can be customized with information that is relevant to the relationship between those entities.
Common uses for Connections include linking people to other people or linking people to an employer.
For a person-to-person connection, you can add information such as how long they've known each other, the type of relationship they have, and any notes that are important to know.
For a person-to-employer connection, you can add information such as Job Title, Department, Shift, or other details about that person's relationship to the employer.
Connections are customized and added to campaigns by your organization's Admins. Because of this, you may not see Connections available if they haven't been set up in your campaign. If you have questions about the Connections or fields available in your campaign, contact your campaign Admin.
Cut Turfs Using Connection Info Fields
Connection Info Fields can be used to automatically create turfs within a task. If your campaign tracks job roles, worksites, shifts, or other relationship details on connections, you can use that information to group entities into turfs while setting up the task.
For example, if members are connected to employers and their job roles are stored on the connection, you can automatically create a separate turf for each job role.
