How to Use Bulk Edit

When you need to make changes across many records in your campaign, Bulk Edit is the way to go. Here's how it works:

1. Click on the Pencil Icon / Bulk Edit at the top of the Wall Chart

   

2. Select the type of bulk edit needed

   

   

3. Select the entities that need editing

   

4. Click the checkbox to confirm the changes

   

5. Click the Yes, apply changes button

   

Why Use Bulk Edit?

Action Builder's Bulk Edit feature enables quick and seamless edits to entities directly from the Wall Chart list view. Instead of updating entities manually or by uploading files, you can update multiple records at once.

Use Case Example

Imagine you're managing a campaign and need to update the contact status for hundreds of volunteers after an event. With Bulk Edit, you can select all relevant contact records from the Wall Chart, choose the update action, and apply the changes in one click. This saves time and minimizes the risk of errors that come with manual data entry or file uploads.

By keeping your data current with Bulk Edit, you can focus more on strategic tasks rather than administrative ones.
