Understanding "Connections" in Action Builder
Imagine "Connections" in Action Builder as a way to show how different things or people relate to each other, like drawing lines between them.
Before, Action Builder had two separate tools:
1. Relationships Tool: This was like drawing a line between two friends to show they know each other.
2. Jobs Feature: This was like putting a label on someone to describe their job, like 'manager' or 'assistant'.
Now, with "Connections", we've combined these tools and made them even better! It’s like a super tool that not only shows who knows who but also describes their roles and even links different groups together.
For a simple example, imagine you’re in charge of a project involving employees, outside workers (subcontractors), and different work locations (jobsites). With "Connections", you can:
1. Make groups for employees, subcontractors, and jobsites.
2. Show who works where.
3. Show which employee is linked to which subcontractor.
In short, "Connections" helps you see the bigger picture of how everyone and everything interacts in your project.
