When using Chart View, you can group your chart by four different categories, Location, Connection Field and Connected To.
Location
Location has three options, City, State, and Zip. These options will break out everyone by their Best Address in the campaign. If you don't have addresses associated with individuals, these groupings won't work.
Field
Field allows you to choose a specific Field that is not a part of a connection and break out the chart by the Responses within it. For instance, if you have a Field for Issues, you can break out the assessments in your campaign by those issues. This could help you identify that individuals with a certain issue may be more or less likely to support your campaign.
Connection Fields
Like Field, here you can choose a Field related to a connection that you have set up for the campaign and see how your assessments break out. For example, if you have Department set up as a field within a People + Employer connection, you can see how your assessments are divided between Departments which can help you identify problem areas and places of support for your campaign.
Connected To
You can also group on the connections that are set up within a campaign. This allows you to view the number of entities that have a connection to each other. One example of how this could be used is to view the number of people who are connected to different employers and see how they're assessments break out. Hopefully, this can help you identify patterns of support to better focus your work.
