Before You Start

Before you dive into Action Builder, we wanted to offer a list of recommendations to make sure that you have the best possible experience with the tool.

Recommended Devices

Action Builder was built first for a mobile experience and almost all of the tools work on a mobile device.  That said, we have noticed some issues with Samsung devices, specifically with users who use the built in Samsung browser (more on that in a moment).  Action Builder is has also been built on the latest platforms and may not run as well on older devices that no longer receive regular updates.

Also, we recommend that certain tools (like the uploads tool) be used on a computer instead of mobile.  However, all of those tools are limited to admins of an organization so if you're not an organizations admin, you shouldn't have any problems using the tool on your phone.

Recommended Browsers

Since Action Builder is updated regularly, we encourage users to use "evergreen" browsers.  An "evergreen" browser is one that gets regularly updated, eg. Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox etc.  Older browsers may experience issues on the site.

As noted above, we have experienced issues with the built in Samsung browser.  Our development team is looking into these issues but for the time being, we recommend Samsung users download Chrome for the best possible experience.
